Sump Pump

Sump pump losses are common and can occur for multiple reasons, such as a clogged pump, an  overwhelmed pump, no water in the pump,  frozen or clogged discharge lines, non-stop running of the pump, or a power loss to the pump.  It is important to occasionally check your sump pump to make sure it has not shifted or become blocked by debris.  The sump pump loss in this photo affected the laminate, vinyl flooring, carpet and pad.  In order to treat the affected areas, all of the flooring needed to be removed.  If a sump pump loss is left untreated, mold can start to grow and create further damage to your home.
